If they were to wake up and interrupt me, I might receive their interruption as an irritation, rather than an act of love. This is why I have actually started blogging in the early morning before the girls get up. Even more, when I am “in the zone,” it is very hard for me to stop what I am doing to do something else. It is very hard for me not to finish something.
This probably goes back to why #3 is such a challenge for me and why #1 can sometimes be my detriment. I’m learning to be better at this (see #3), but it is a struggle I will continue to overcome with God’s help I am sure. After all, we all have our own shortcomings. However, part of blogging is about sharing your shortcomings too so that others can learn from them and better relate to you. There was no way I could keep up with 12 topic focused posts a month once my children stopped taking their naps. I like setting goals, and I like striving for something, but sometimes I share goals with others that are not realistic for me, creating more stress in my life than God probably would have intended.
